Before You Sail

Booked your day aboard Polaris Jack? Or just about to?  Here's what you'll need to know.

1. Polaris Jack is a small, serious sailing vessel--perfect for exploring Maine's coastline. But this is no posh Camden cruise, so be sure you're physically able to move aboard a sailboat and climb the companionway ladder to get below (where the head--or toilet--is located...). (If this is a concern, don't hesitate to call or text or email!)

2. What to bring: 

--Sunscreen/sunglasses

--Food/Drinks (freshwater is available on board)

--A warm layer (the sea breeze can be chilly)

--A raincoat

3. What not to bring:

--Your computer

--Your work

--Your dog
